Ireland vs Wales

The game started with Ireland on the front foot. Jacob Stockdale ran in the first try within 5 minutes, which was great for him after being dropped after the French game.
From this first blow it was really 50:50, with Wales playing superbly and rattling the Irish. They were winning scrums, winning penalties on and off the ball, and keeping superb defence when Ireland were on attack. The hits were so big you could hear them in the stands.
It stayed like that for a while, but when Jack Crowley got his hands on the ball at the 5-metre line he dummied and ran it in. But the Welsh, only 3 minutes after this, responded with a beautiful try from Rhys Carre. This was a huge uplift for Wales. The first half finished Ireland 12 – Wales 7.
The second half started with Ireland again, with Jack Conan getting in for a well-deserved try. The game did not slow down tackles-wise, with Alex Mann playing excellent. Wales got a try to put them within reaching distance as James Botham ran in a beautiful one. Dan Edwards kept his 100 percent record from the tee this game to bring the game within reach.
But a try through the hands of Jamie Osborne got them 7 points further ahead of Wales. Crowley slotted a penalty at the end to secure the win, with Wales not getting the losing bonus point, which I think they deserved.
A cracking game with some pieces of magic from man of the match Jack Conan and blue scrum cap Tadhg Beirne. And you have to say well done to Alex Mann, who was really up there for man of the match.
Ireland will be hoping for a Scottish miracle against the French to hopefully get a chance of winning. Wales, who looked like a different team today, moved on with another loss, but I would say their heads were high as they played outstandingly.
